Under the vigilant leadership of Principal Mr. Dharmendra Bhardwaj, PM SHRI KV No. 3, Sagar, has diligently adhered to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) guidelines. The school has conducted comprehensive safety drills, including earthquake evacuation, fire drills, and terrorist attack mock drills, to ensure the safety and preparedness of students and staff.This year, the earthquake evacuation drill saw the participation of all students and staff, who efficiently followed the “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” protocol. The drill was meticulously organized by Third Officer Krishna Kant and the disaster management committee, ensuring swift and orderly evacuation to designated safe zones.The fire drill, conducted in collaboration with local fire department officials, focused on rapid evacuation, use of fire extinguishers, and first aid procedures. The mock drill for a terrorist attack was executed with precision, highlighting the importance of lockdown procedures, communication protocols, and cooperation with local law enforcement.These drills have significantly enhanced the emergency response capabilities of the school community. Principal Mr. Dharmendra Bhardwaj’s emphasis on safety education and Third Officer Krishna Kant’s detailed planning have been pivotal in cultivating a culture of preparedness and resilience.Moving forward, the school remains committed to regular drills and continuous improvement of its safety protocols, ensuring a secure environment for all.
